Pre-Season Clinic in Ohio
Linda is hosting a Pre-Season Clinic at the Diamonds in the Rough Park in Sherrodsville Ohio (near Canton) on March 6-7. This 2 day clinic can be a day camp or an overnight camp as the facility offers housing and meals. For more information go to March Pre-Season Camp Flyer.
April Ortenzo Named Athlete of the Year!

Linda is proud to announce that one of her students, April Ortenzo, has been named "Catholic High School Female Athlete of the Year". Selection is made by Sports Faith International in association with the National Collegiate Scouting Association and is chaired by Chicago Bears owner Patrick McCaskey. April was selected from 750 nominees from throughout the U.S.
April will be inducted into the “Catholic Sports Hall of Fame” on February 21st at the Chicago Bears Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Illinois along with the male athlete of the year, a coach and a team of the year. This year’s Hall of Fame inductees also include: Bill Bidwell owner of the Arizona Cardinals, St. Johns University Football Coach John Gagliardi (currently the winningest coach in college football), and Chicago Bear Brian Piccolo (Posthumouisly). Previous inductees include Notre Dame and NFL Hall of Fame tight end Dave Casper and George Halas, owner of the Chicago Bears. |
LDI Partners with Diamonds in the Rough Park
LDI proudly announces that they have partnered with Diamonds in the Rough Park. The facilities at DIR include housing for 500, full service cafeteria, indoor gymnasiums and outdoor covered courts for training, swimming pool, and lake, plus lots more! This is the perfect location for camps, clinics, and specialty tournaments.

Linda Derk at Game On Softball Camp
Linda is one of the instructors at the "Game On" Softball Camp in Jacksonville Florida on December 5-6. This camp is open to all campers ages 14 and older. For more information, go to www.gameonsoftball.com.
Team Aruba Arrives on December 13
Team Aruba arrives in South Florida on December 13 and will be playing games in Coral Springs from December 14-19. This international team is being hosted and sponsored by LDI Sports Consulting, Florida Fury, Fastpitch Headquarters, Douglas Softball, Coral Springs YSACS, Softball Magazine, Ringor, and Wilson.
Events are open to the public and will be held at Betty Stradling Park in Coral Springs. There is no admission fee for any of the events. For directions, please go to www.floridafury.com, click on "Locations & Directions" in the left navigation menu and find the Betty Stradling Park listing.
